It has been quite some time since the last time I posted! Little Zoey isn't so little anymore. She is 13 months old and had 5 teeth (that I know of). She weighed 19 pounds, is 31.5 inches long, and healthy. Her head and length are in the 90th percentile and her weight is in the 25th percentile. Those were her stats a couple weeks ago during her checkup. She is very healthy and Zack and I have been fortunate to have a healthy baby. She has been so much fun and can be a little dramatic but I think all girls are programmed that way. I love watching her grow and figure things out. She is my little sweetness!

Since I last wrote, quite a bit happened. Zack and I went on our first cruise ever and it was pretty awesome. We are going to go on another one in a couple of weeks and we are both very excited for warm weather! Our beloved English Mastiff, Brutus had to be put down last spring. He got into something that put him into renal failure and after 2 days of pumping drugs into him, we decided to pull the plug. He was a great dog and we will get another one just like him once I get a job after I'm done with schooling. We did get another dog and his name is Cuzco. He is a mini schnauzer and has quite the personality. It is different having a small dog again. Cuzco is dog number three so hopefully he can live past 3 years old!

Zack is still working at Mccains and likes his new job position that he recently was promoted to. Right before Christmas, he had to get his appendix taken out because it was infected and causing a lot of pain. He had a semi quick recovery and is doing much better now. His Packers won the Superbowl in February against the Steelers! Yay! Go Pack! Now is the time for March Madness, which is always fun to watch. Zack is going to go to Missouri for a few days to see his little brother, Zane graduate from boot camp.
I applied for the Radiologic Technology program at CSI in June and after turning in my portfolio and going through the interview process, they picked me! I was one of 15 chosen to be in the program! So now I am in semester number 2 out of 5 and will graduate in May 2012. I am really excited to have the opportunity to be enrolled in the RT program and it has been a fun and busy time of life! I start my clinical rotations this June and I think it will be fun and interesting. Other than school, I have been trying to keep up with Zoey. I did run in the San Francisco Half Marathon in November and that was quite the experience! I ran it with Lynn and it was fun.. and hard! I plan on running in at least one half marathon every year. It is a great way to stay in shape and keep me busy.. well, busier. I also played in city league basketball and have one more game left before the season is over. It has been fun playing again.
Our little family is is growing happily and I am so glad to have Zack and Zoey in my life! They both mean so much to me and I love them tremendously. I did find out that my older brother, Mike and his wife Brittany are having a boy in June and I am stoked! I'm so excited to have a little nephew finally! I won't get to see him much because they live in Texas, but it is exciting to see my family grow. Hopefully I write about the goings on sooner than later!
